Duties: Manages and directs all activities relating to the functioning of the school and professional company, including but not limited to recruiting and managing artistic faculty and staff, choreograph and produce or create concepts that are then choreographed by and outside source, or company dancer. Creating budget for the following seasons, manages the dance academy including appointing instructors creating curriculum, and strutting class schedules, oversee and executes all aspects of the junior’s and children dance company, select candidates, scheduling and execution the rehearsals and performances. Work closely with the assistant on setting curriculum for the next year and coordinating all educational programs and extra shows, prepares, rehearses, and assists in the scheduling and execution of outreach performances.
